Scandalisation, gender and space in ancient Rome: The case of Cicero and Clodia
Gender &History, Volume 38, Issue 1, Page 5-20, March 2026.Abstract This article analyses the public attack on Clodia Metelli, a Roman aristocratic woman, by the orator Marcus Tullius Cicero in a trial in 56 BCE. Drawing on modern scandal theory, this article analyses how Cicero uses scandal dynamics to turn Clodia, the witness in the case, into the culprit.

Friction and Wear Behavior of Laser‐Induced Graphene Structures on Polyimide Films
Small Science, Volume 5, Issue 12, December 2025.This study presents an investigation into the friction and wear behavior of laser‐induced graphene (LIG). Introducing line patterns of different sizes with this laser scribing approach results in a lowering of the coefficient of friction. The gradual wear of the protruding LIG patterns and the formation of wear debris are explored.
