Friction and Wear Behavior of Laser‐Induced Graphene Structures on Polyimide Films

open access: yesSmall Science, Volume 5, Issue 12, December 2025.
This study presents an investigation into the friction and wear behavior of laser‐induced graphene (LIG). Introducing line patterns of different sizes with this laser scribing approach results in a lowering of the coefficient of friction. The gradual wear of the protruding LIG patterns and the formation of wear debris are explored.
