The Standardization of Chinese Library Classification
Cataloging & Classification Quarterly, 1993The standardization of Chinese materials classification was first proposed in the late-1970s in China. In December 1980, the CCDST, the Chinese Library Association and the Chinese Society for Information Science proposed that the Chinese Library Classification system be adopted as the national standard.
