Narrative Disclosure Tone and Bank Risk: The Role of Economic Policy Uncertainty

open access: yesManagerial and Decision Economics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study examines the impact of narrative disclosure tone (NDT) on bank riskiness, particularly in the context of heightened economic policy uncertainty (EPU). Utilizing data from 114 banks across 2052 bank‐year observations between 2005 and 2022, our findings reveal a significant positive relationship between NDT and various measures of ...

Essential Tremor Suppression with a Novel Anti‐Tremor Orthosis: A Randomized Crossover Trial

open access: yesMovement Disorders, Volume 40, Issue 3, Page 445-455, March 2025.
A novel anti‐tremor orthosis was evaluated in 24 essential tremor patients in a randomized crossover trial. It significantly reduced tremor severity and power in ADL and posture tasks compared to baseline and a sham device. The orthosis showed high patient satisfaction, offering a promising new treatment option for managing tremor.

Expanding the Allelic and Clinical Heterogeneity of Movement Disorders Linked to Defects of Mitochondrial Adenosine Triphosphate Synthase

open access: yesMovement Disorders, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Defects of mitochondrial ATP synthase (ATPase) represent an emerging, yet incompletely understood group of neurodevelopmental diseases with abnormal movements. Objective The aim of this study was to redefine the phenotypic and mutational spectrum of movement disorders linked to the ATPase subunit‐encoding genes ATP5F1A and ATP5F1B ...

Vitamin A‐Enriched Diet Increases Urothelial Cell Proliferation by Upregulating Itga3 and Areg After Cyclophosphamide‐Induced Injury in Mice

open access: yesMolecular Nutrition &Food Research, Volume 69, Issue 9, May 2025.
We investigated the effects of vitamin A (VitA)‐enriched diet on regeneration of urothelium after intraperitoneal injection (i.p.) of cyclophosphamide (CP). Control mice received i.p. of saline (S). Our results showed that VitA‐enriched diet on the first day after CP‐induced injury significantly increased the proliferation of urothelial cells, leading ...
