This study demonstrates the feasibility of renal deuterium metabolic imaging (DMI) at 7T to noninvasively map tracer dynamics in humans. Five healthy participants underwent DMI after ingestion of deuterium‐labeled water or glucose, achieving 3D maps with ∼0.9‐1.8‐mL resolution every 8.5 min.
