Abstract Transmembrane mucin 1 (tMUC1) provides oral mucosal barrier against pathogens. The invasion of oncopathogenic microbes can promote cancerous proliferation of cells via inflammatory responses, abnormal cellular signaling, angiogenesis, anti‐adhesion, and tumorigenesis.

Linking EU habitat and species protection through favourable reference areas: Evidence from threatened saproxylic beetles

Insect Conservation and Diversity, EarlyView.
Threatened saproxylic beetles occurred significantly more often within EU forest habitats and in landscapes with high habitat density. Achieving Favourable Reference Areas substantially increased habitat availability and improved the projected conservation status of threatened saproxylic beetles.

Scalp Dysesthesia: Emerging Pathophysiologic Insights and Therapeutic Implications

Scalp dysesthesia is a chronic condition diagnosed through exclusion. This scoping review synthesized data from 59 patients to identify recurrent clinical features, comorbidities, and management strategies that may support earlier diagnosis. Emerging patterns suggest that neuronal sensitization may underlie common symptoms.
