Notes on cyanobacterial lichens (mostly Lichinales, Ascomycota) of the Canary Islands

Gyalectales, Lichinales, Peltigerales, and Pertusariales

The situation in Peltigerales is rather different to that in Lecanorales as the order seems to include several distinct lines that are not closely related. The lines are very old and it is not easy to determine connections. It is doubtful if a satisfactory system in that order can be achieved now, and I would prefer to see more informal groupings ...

The New Lichen family Gloeoheppiaceae and its Genera Gloeoheppia, Pseudopeltula and Gudelia (Lichinales)
