Integrating morphisms of Lie 2-algebras

open access: yes, 2010
We show how to integrate a weak morphism of Lie algebra crossed-modules to a weak morphism of Lie 2-groups. To do so we develop a theory of butterflies for 2-term L_infty algebras.

Lie groups and Lie algebras [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We have studied linear transformation on \({\mathbb{R}}^{n}\) using the traditional matrix formalism in Chap. 7 and more generally in Chaps. 8–10, using the machinery of geometric algebra. This chapter explains the bivector interpretation of a general linear operator and offers a new proof of the Cayley–Hamilton theorem based upon this interpretation.

The Recursive Forward Dynamics of Flexible Mechanical Systems

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2016
Lie groups and Lie algebras are used to study the recursive dynamics of flexible multi-body systems. First the adjoint transformations and adjoint operators of Lie groups and Lie algebras are discussed.

Generalisation of affine Lie algebras on compact real manifolds

open access: yesSciPost Physics Proceedings, 2023
We report on recent work concerning a new type of generalised Kac-Moody algebras based on the spaces of differentiable mappings from compact manifolds or homogeneous spaces onto compact Lie groups.

Cartan-Weyl 3-algebras and the BLG Theory I: Classification of Cartan-Weyl 3-algebras

open access: yes, 2010
As Lie algebras of compact connected Lie groups, semisimple Lie algebras have wide applications in the description of continuous symmetries of physical systems.

Physics‐Constrained Constitutive Learning of Rate‐Limiting Timescales for Efficient Hydrogen‐Based Direct Reduction for Green Steel Making

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A conversion‐resolved constitutive framework is developed for the hydrogen‐based direct reduction of iron oxide pellets. Effective reaction and transport timescales are inferred directly from measured trajectories and mapped against operating conditions, pellet architecture, and composition. The analysis reveals how late‐stage transport control emerges

Updatable Closed‐Form Evaluation of Arbitrarily Complex Multiport Network Connections

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
The inverse design of electrically large wave devices often uses reduced‐order multiport models with discrete optimization, requiring many evaluations of complex interconnections between subsystems that differ only in a few blocks. This paper introduces a closed‐form framework enabling efficient Woodbury low‐rank updates of related, previous ...

Matrix Representation for Decomposable Solvable Six-Dimensional Lie Algebra

open access: yesمجلة التربية والعلم
This paper extends the classification of three-dimensional connected topological proper loops , for which the multiplication group  is a six-dimensional decomposable solvable Lie group.

Mapping the Innovation DNA of Agribusiness Firms: A Multi‐Method Analysis of Strategic Capabilities and Performance

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Innovation is essential for competitiveness in agribusiness facing dynamic environments. This study examines how market orientation, marketing, relational, and social capabilities influence innovation performance. Using data from 751 Spanish firms and a multi‐method approach that integrates Structural Equation Modeling (PLS‐SEM), Necessary ...

Fixed Points of Local Actions of Lie Groups on Real and Complex 2-Manifolds

open access: yesAxioms, 2015
I discuss old and new results on fixed points of local actions by Lie groups G on real and complex 2-manifolds, and zero sets of Lie algebras of vector fields. Results of E. Lima, J. Plante and C. Bonatti are reviewed.
