The Control of Maintenance Vehicle Lifting Mechanism Based on Fuzzy PID

2019 International Conference on Advances in Construction Machinery and Vehicle Engineering (ICACMVE), 2019
In this paper, lifting mechanism of a certain maintenance vehicle is taken as the research object. Aiming at the problem of slow response of lifting, a control method based on fuzzy PID control strategy is proposed.

Unpowered Lower-Body Exoskeleton with Torso Lifting Mechanism for Supporting Sit-to-Stand Transitions

IEEE/RJS International Conference on Intelligent RObots and Systems, 2018
In this paper, we propose the design of an exoskeleton with support at the knee joint and lower torso for sit-to-stand and stand-to-sit (STS) posture transitions; devised for users with spinal cord injury and other complete lower-body impairments.

Back Support Mechanisms During Manual Lifting

Physical Therapy, 1989
The ability of individuals to lift heavy loads without injury to the vertebral elements has led to the formulation of several explanations of this phenomenon. In this article, the existing literature on lifting is reviewed and mechanisms of back support during lifting are described.

Lift Mechanics of Downhill Skiing and Snowboarding

Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, 2006
This study is conducted to develop a simplified mathematical model to describe the lift mechanics of downhill skiing and snowboarding, where the lift contributions due to both the transiently trapped air and the compressed solid phase (snow crystals) are determined.

A hypersonic lift mechanism with decoupled lift and drag surfaces

Science China Physics, Mechanics and Astronomy, 2013
In the present study, we propose a novel lift mechanism for which the lifting surface produces only lift. This is achieved by mounting a two-dimensional shock-shock interaction generator below the lifting surface. The shock-shock interaction theory in conjunction with a three dimensional correction and checked with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is

Lifting Mechanism with Ribbon Brake

2018
The scheme of a typical lifting mechanism of the load lifting machine is considered. Its disadvantage due to the placement of the brake pulley on the coupling half located on the high-speed shaft of the reducer is indicated. This determines the rationality of installing the brake directly on the working mechanism of the lifting machine mechanism.

On lifting of statechart structuring mechanisms

Third International Conference on Application of Concurrency to System Design, 2003. Proceedings., 2004
We propose a set of procedures addressing the implementation of statechart models. The main goal of this set of procedures is to lift the structuring mechanisms presented in statecharts to the top level. In this sense, the complexity of statechart implementation will be similar to the complexity of communicating concurrent state machines and the ...
