In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Integration of Low‐Voltage Nanoscale MoS2 Memristors on CMOS Microchips
This article presents the first monolithic integration of nanoscale MoS2‐based memristors into the back‐end‐of‐line of foundry‐fabricated CMOS microchips in a one‐transistor‐one‐resistor (1T1R) architecture. The MoS2‐based 1T1R cells exhibit forming‐free, nonvolatile resistive switching with ultra‐low operating voltages, low cycle‐to‐cycle variability ...

ABSTRACT Electronic waste has emerged as a major environmental challenge, driven by the massive consumption and a limited lifetime of modern electronic devices, stimulating the development of sustainable electronics. Here, an all‐biomaterial gelatin‐choline‐citric acid ([Ch][CA]) ionogel is developed as an active binder to realize self‐sintered ...

To enhance the water quality in stratified reservoirs in summer, a novel air-lifting tower for destratifying water has been deployed since the 2010s in Japan. Compared to conventional water mixing systems that intermittently diffuse air into water bodies

Receptor‐Free Identification of Toxic Gases Enabled by Hygroscopic Aqueous Salt Films
Water as a gas sensor coating sounds impossible—until it stops evaporating. Here, hygroscopic salt solutions (LiCl, LiBr, H3PO4) form non‐drying aqueous films on CNT chemiresistors under ambient air. Gases partition into these liquid layers, sometimes transforming into water, and generate salt‐specific resistance fingerprints across a four‐channel ...

Aerodynamic Optimisation of Non-planar Lifting Surfaces [PDF]
A novel population structured genetic algorithm (sGA) with embedded potential flow\ud vortex ring panel method (VRM) has been developed to minimise induced and parasitic\ud drag subject to constraints on lift, root bending moment, and longitudinal static stability.\ud The optimisation architecture can activate up to four independent wing segments ...

Freeform surface filtering using the lifting wavelet transform
Texture measurement for simple geometric surfaces is well established. Many surface filtration techniques using Fourier, Gaussian, wavelets, etc., have been proposed over the past decades.

Spatially Modulated Morphotropic Phase Boundaries in a Compressively Strained Multiferroic Thin Film
ABSTRACT The coexisting rhombohedral‐like (R′, MA) and tetragonal‐like (T′, MC) monoclinic phases in compressively strained bismuth ferrite thin films exhibit exceptional piezoelectric and magnetic properties. While previous studies have largely focused on probing the morphotropic phase boundaries (MPBs) comprising ordered R′/T′ twins, their self ...

Trunk muscle behaviors during the full-cycle stoop and squat lifting tasks [PDF]
Background Lifting is generally considered as a risk factor for low back pain. A thorough investigation of the muscle function during lifting is essential for a better assessment of the potential risk of muscle impairment and towards improvements in ...
