Magnon pair emission from a relativistic domain wall in antiferromagnets

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2020
Magnon emission and excitation by a relativistic domain wall at a constant velocity in antiferromagnets is theoretically studied. A pair emission due to a quadratic magnon coupling is shown to be dominant.

FITTING A NORMAL PROBABILITY DISTRIBUTION TO DEPTH ESTIMATIONS OF THREE REALSENSE™ RGB-D CAMERAS TESTED IN SCENES WITH TRANSPARENCY [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2022
In the last decade, various companies have released different versions of RGB-D sensors, improving their performance at various levels (resolution, frame rate, robustness).

Experimental study of compartment fire development and ejected flame thermal behavior for a large-scale light timber frame construction

open access: yesCase Studies in Thermal Engineering, 2021
Most of the previous work focused on fire behavior of non-combustible construction. However, few investigations have systematically addressed fire development and window ejected flame based on large-scale light timber frame construction (LTFC).

Effective spacetime and Hawking radiation from moving domain wall in thin film of 3He-A [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
An event horizon for "relativistic" fermionic quasiparticles can be constructed in a thin film of superfluid 3He-A. The quasiparticles see an effective "gravitational" field which is induced by a topological soliton of the order parameter.

Light-Front Holographic QCD and the Confinement Potential

open access: yes, 2013
Light-Front Hamiltonian theory, derived from the quantization of the QCD Lagrangian at fixed light-front time \tau = t+z/c, provides a rigorous frame-independent framework for solving nonperturbative QCD.

Design of stick-framed wood roofs under tornado wind loads

open access: yesFrontiers in Built Environment, 2022
Light-frame wood construction comprises nearly 90% of the housing industry in Canada and the United States. The roofs of these houses can be constructed either entirely on site or using prefabricated trusses.

Thermal Resistance and Condensation in the Light-frame Timber Wall Structures with Various Composition of Insulation Layers

open access: yesJournal of the Korean Wood Science and Technology, 2019
1) As energy costs increase, more people has become interested on energy efficiency and savings in residential buildings. The two main subjects related to energy in residential buildings are insulation and condensation.

Light-Front Holography and the Light-Front Schrodinger Equation

open access: yes, 2012
One of the most important nonperturbative methods for solving QCD is quantization at fixed light-front time, \tau = t+z/c -- Dirac's "Front Form". The eigenvalues of the light-front QCD Hamiltonian predict the hadron spectrum and the eigensolutions ...

Evaluation of Nonlinear Behavior of Dual Steel Frame-Shear Wall System by a Group of Real Earthquakes [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Structural and Construction Engineering, 2016
Dual system of steel moment frame and steel plate shear wall has many advantages in comparison to the other systems. Since the last four decades the dual system has been used more frequently in new and existing structures.
