A Geometrically Transient Platform for Bioelectronic Implants

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Minimally invasive bioelectronic implants often compromise performance for smaller sizes. To resolve this optimization dilemma, a wireless bioelectronic implant with a transient geometry is introduced (MiFi). The origami‐inspired device miniaturizes up to sixfold for syringe insertion and autonomously unfolds post‐implantation.

Data‐Driven Materials Science for Energy‐Sustainable Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Data‐driven approaches powered by artificial intelligence are transforming materials discovery for energy sustainability. This review examines how auto‐generated high‐quality materials databases and domain‐specific language models accelerate research in photovoltaics, thermoelectrics, batteries and magnetic materials. Applications involve extraction of

Multimodal Human–Robot Interaction Using Human Pose Estimation and Local Large Language Models

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A multimodal human–robot interaction framework integrates human pose estimation (HPE) and a large language model (LLM) for gesture‐ and voice‐based robot control. Speech‐to‐text (STT) enables voice command interpretation, while a safety‐aware arbitration mechanism prioritizes gesture input for rapid intervention.

Color Confinement, Hadron Dynamics, and Hadron Spectroscopy from Light-Front Holography and Superconformal Algebra

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2018
The QCD light-front Hamiltonian equation HLFΨ=M2Ψ derived from quantization at fixed LF time τ=t  +  z/c provides a causal, frame-independent method for computing hadron spectroscopy as well as dynamical observables such as structure functions ...

Neuromorphic Near‐Sensor and In‐Sensor Computing Enabled by Next‐Generation Material‐Based Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This Review presents a structural framework that classifies neuromorphic sensing into near‐sensor and in‐sensor architectures, clarifying physical coupling between sensing and computation. The framework connects neural and synaptic device functions with recent advances in optical, mechanical, and chemical sensing, compares energy consumption and ...

Neutron spin structure from polarized deuteron DIS with proton tagging

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2019
Polarized electron-deuteron deep-inelastic scattering (DIS) with detection of the spectator proton (“tagged DIS”) enables measurements of neutron spin structure with maximal control of nuclear effects.

Poincaré invariant algebra from instant to light-front quantization [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2001
We present the Poincare algebra interpolating between instant and light-front time quantizations. The angular momentum operators satisfying SU(2) algebra are constructed in an arbitrary interpolation angle and shown to be identical to the ordinary angular momentum and Leutwyler-Stern angular momentum in the instant and light-front quantization limits ...

Soft, Multi‐Wavelength Photoplethysmography Enables Reliable Neonatal Blood Pressure Monitoring Via Error Stratification

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A soft hybrid multi‐wavelength PPG wearable acquires neonatal signals. Synchronized PPG and invasive ABP data are segmented into fixed windows. A 1D‐EfficientNet model predicts segment‐level SBP and DBP. Model performance is examined with retrospective subgroup analysis across acquisition conditions.

Towards a first principles light-front Hamiltonian for the nucleon

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
We solve the nucleon's wave functions from the eigenstates of the light-front quantum chromodynamics Hamiltonian for the first time, using a fully relativistic and nonperturbative approach based on light-front quantization, without an explicit confining ...
