A 3+1 Dimensional LF Model with Spontaneous χ SB [PDF]
Light-front (LF) quantization provides an intuitive (physical basis!) description of hadron structure that stays close to the relevant degrees of freedom in high energy scattering: many high-energy scattering processes probe hadrons along a light-like ...

Solving hadron structures using the basis light-front quantization approach on quantum computers
Quantum computing has demonstrated the potential to revolutionize our understanding of nuclear, atomic, and molecular structure by obtaining forefront solutions in nonrelativistic quantum many-body theory. In this work, we show that quantum computing can

Light Front Quantization [PDF]
An introductory overview on Light-Front quantization, with some emphasis on recent achievements, is given. Light-Front quantization is the most promising and physical tool to study deep inelastic scattering on the basis of quark gluon degrees of freedom.

Electron Anomalous Magnetic Moment in Basis Light-Front Quantization Approach [PDF]
We apply the Basis Light-Front Quantization (BLFQ) approach to the Hamiltonian field theory of Quantum Electrodynamics (QED) in free space. We solve for the mass eigenstates corresponding to an electron interacting with a single photon in light-front ...

Recognizing Voice Over IP: A Robust Front-End for Speech Recognition on the World Wide Web [PDF]
The Internet Protocol (IP) environment poses two relevant sources of distortion to the speech recognition problem: lossy speech coding and packet loss. In this paper, we propose a new front-end for speech recognition over IP networks.

Basis light-front quantization approach to nucleon [PDF]
We obtain the light-front wavefunctions for the nucleon in the valence quark Fock space from an effective Hamiltonian, which includes the transverse and longitudinal confinement and the one-gluon exchange interaction with fixed coupling. The wavefunctions are generated by solving the eigenvalue equation in a basis light-front quantization.

Anisotropic flow and the valence quark skeleton of hadrons
We study transverse momentum anisotropies, in particular, the elliptic flow v 2 due to the interference effect sourced by valence quarks in high-energy hadron-hadron collisions. Our main formula is derived as the high-energy (eikonal) limit of the impact-

Basis light-front quantization approach to positronium
We present the first application of the recently developed Basis Light-Front Quantization (BLFQ) method to self-bound systems in quantum field theory, using the positronium system as a test case. Within the BLFQ framework, we develop a two-body effective interaction, operating only in the lowest Fock sector, that implements photon exchange, neglecting ...

Light-Front Quantization and AdS/QCD: An overview
We give an overview of the light-front holographic approach to strongly coupled QCD, whereby a confining gauge theory, quantized on the light front, is mapped to a higher-dimensional anti de Sitter (AdS) space. The framework is guided by the AdS/CFT correspondence incorporating a gravitational background asymptotic to AdS space which encodes the ...
