Transverse structure of the proton beyond leading twist: A light-front Hamiltonian approach

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
Within the Basis Light-Front Quantization framework, we systematically investigate the subleading twist (twist-3) transverse-momentum-dependent parton distribution functions (TMDs) of the proton beyond the Wandzura-Wilczek (WW) approximation.

Positronium in Basis Light-Front Quantization

open access: yes, 2013
We present a calculation of the mass spectrum of positronium within the framework of the recently developed Basis Light-Front Quantization approach to non-perturbative quantum field theory. In this calculation, we employ a two-body effective interaction for the photon exchange, neglecting self-energy effects.

Strategies and Challenges in Memristor‐Selector Integration for High‐Density Memory and Compute‐in‐Memory Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Selector integration enables scalable memristor crossbar arrays by suppressing sneak‐path currents and improving array selectivity. This review summarizes integration strategies, device requirements, challenges, and opportunities for high‐density memory, compute‐in‐memory, and neuromorphic computing systems.

Real‐Time Multicolor Fluorescence Microscopy via Cross‐Channel Acquisition and Deep‐Learning‐Based Inference

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Sequential multicolor fluorescence imaging in dynamic microsystems is constrained by acquisition speed and excitation dose. This study introduces a real‐time framework to reconstruct spectrally separated channels from reduced cross‐channel acquisitions (frames containing mixed spectral contributions).

A Two‐Stage Characterization Pipeline and Open‐Source Framework for Reproducible Tactile Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
The same soft tactile sensor returns different numbers when embodied in different robots. This is an Embodiment Gap that no shared framework currently captures transparently. A two‐stage characterization pipeline, paired with a FAIR open‐source digital datasheet, decouples intrinsic sensor behavior from embodiment effects and condenses cross‐laboratory

Behaviorally Adaptive and Inclusive Advanced Driver‐Assistance Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Advanced driver‐assistance systems (ADASs) are mapped as evolving human‐centered, adaptive technologies linking sensing, driver monitoring, AR/HUD interfaces, patents, regulation, and inclusive design. The review identifies gaps in real‐world evidence, diverse‐driver validation, gaze metrics, and governance, outlining a roadmap for safer, behaviorally ...

Real and virtual photons within basis light-front quantization

open access: yes, 2023
We compute the structure function, transverse momentum dependent parton distributions (TMDs), and generalized parton distributions (GPDs) for the physical photon from the light-front quantum electrodynamics (QED) Hamiltonian, determined for its ...

Quantization of Skyrmions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
The Skyrme model is a nonlinear classical field theory which models the strong interaction between atomic nuclei. In order to compare the predictions of the Skyrme model with nuclear physics, it has to be quantized. We show, summarizing earlier work, how
