Noninvasive Intelligent Brain‐Metasurface System for Real‐Time Electromagnetic Wave Manipulation

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 15, Issue 13, 13 July 2026.
A noninvasive intelligent brain–computer interface (BCI) is integrated with a reconfigurable metasurface to establish a direct neural‐to electromagnetic transduction pathway for real time, multimodal wave control. By combining convolutional‐neural‐network‐based decoding of motor‐imagery electroencephalography (EEG) signals with threshold‐based ...

Ambipolar Organic–Inorganic Heterostructure Transistor Array for Integrated Visual Information Processing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 37, 3 July 2026.
We present an organic–inorganic heterostructure transistor array for neuromorphic computing, achieving 95.6% MNIST accuracy and 1.2 fJ per operation, with dynamic spatiotemporal encoding and precise vehicle direction detection under combined optical and electrical stimulation.

Disentangling intertwined embedded states and spin effects in light-front quantization

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2000
Naive light-front quantization, carried out by a light-front energy integration of covariant amplitudes, is not guaranteed to generate the corresponding Feynman amplitudes. In an explicit example we show that the nonvalence contribution to the minus-component of the EM current of a meson with fermion constituents has a persistent end-point singularity.

Residual Neural Network Compensation of Temperature‐Induced Gamma Shift in OLED Display

open access: yesJournal of the Society for Information Display, Volume 34, Issue 7, Page 615-625, July 2026.
The figure summarizes the proposed white‐only sensing framework and highlights its key advantages in improving color accuracy and reducing calibration time ABSTRACT Organic light‐emitting diode (OLED) displays exhibit temperature‐induced chromatic shifts and luminance‐dependent nonlinear responses, causing CIEDE2000 color difference (ΔE) and local ...

Twist-3 Generalized Parton Distribution for the Proton from Basis Light-Front Quantization

open access: yes, 2023
We investigate the twist-3 generalized parton distributions (GPDs) for the valence quarks of the proton within the basis light-front quantization (BLFQ) framework. We first solve for the mass spectra and light-front waved functions (LFWFs) in the leading

The enigma of optical momentum in a medium [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
It is 100 years since Minkowski and Abraham first gave rival expressions for the momentum of light in a material medium. At the single-photon level, these correspond, respectively, either to multiplying or dividing the free-space value () by the ...

A Dialogue on Revolutions and Revolutionaries in Science: A Perspective From Quantum Mechanics

open access: yesNatural Sciences, Volume 6, Issue 3, July 2026.
ABSTRACT We discuss the notions of scientific revolutions and revolutionaries in the context of the Relativity Revolution and of the First, Second, and Third Quantum Revolutions. We conclude that at the core of the question of what qualifies as a revolution and revolutionary is an assessment of the gradients of knowledge accumulation over time, both at

Light-Front Holography and the Light-Front Schrodinger Equation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
One of the most important nonperturbative methods for solving QCD is quantization at fixed light-front time {tau} = t+z=c - Dirac's 'Front Form'. The eigenvalues of the light-front QCD Hamiltonian predict the hadron spectrum and the eigensolutions ...
