We investigate the class of helical hypersurfaces parametrized by x=x(u,v,w), characterized by a light-like axis in Minkowski spacetime L4. We determine the matrices that represent the fundamental forms, Gauss map, and shape operator of x.

The Intrinsic Conformal Structure and Gauss Map of a Light-Like Hypersurface in Minkowski Space [PDF]
We begin by pointing out two subtleties in the global properties of hypersurfaces in Minkowski space which inherit a uniformly degenerate metric (i.e., the existence of global space-like sections and the notion of an icon; see Appendices 1 and 2). We then construct a Gauss map for such hypersurfaces and an intrinsic invariant.

Elements of celestial conformal field theory
In celestial holography, four-dimensional scattering amplitudes are considered as two-dimensional conformal correlators of a putative two-dimensional celestial conformal field theory (CCFT).

The Lanczos Equation on Light-Like Hypersurfaces in a Cosmologically Viable Class of Kinetic Gravity Braiding Theories [PDF]
We discuss junction conditions across null hypersurfaces in a class of scalar–tensor gravity theories (i) with second-order dynamics, (ii) obeying the recent constraints imposed by gravitational wave propagation, and (iii) allowing for a cosmologically viable evolution.

Sachs’ free data in real connection variables
We discuss the Hamiltonian dynamics of general relativity with real connection variables on a null foliation, and use the Newman-Penrose formalism to shed light on the geometric meaning of the various constraints.

On recurrent Light like Hypersurfaces of Indefinite Sasakian Manifold
The object of present paper is to study the properties of recurrent lightlike hypersurfaces of indefinite Sasakian manifold with (l, m) –type connection.

Hypersurfaces with light-like points
Consider a constant mean curvature immersion $F:U(\subset \boldsymbol{R}^n)\to M$ into an arbitrary Lorentzian $(n+1)$-manifold $M$. A point $o\in U$ is called a light-like point if the first fundamental form $ds^2$ of $F$ degenerates at $o$. We denote by $B_F$ the determinant function of the symmetric matrix associated to $ds^2$ with respect to a ...

OSSERMAN LIGHTLIKE HYPERSURFACE CASES
In this study, we constructed four examples of light-like hypersurfaces that satisfy the conditions of an Osserman manifold, based on the characterisation of light-like hypersurfaces of a pseudo-Riemannian manifold of dimension m+2.
