Light-responsive nanochannels based on the supramolecular host–guest system

open access: yesFrontiers in Chemistry, 2022
The light-responsive nanochannel of rhodopsin gained wider research interest from its crucial roles in light-induced biological functions, such as visual signal transduction and energy conversion, though its poor stability and susceptibility to ...

Visible Light-Responsive DASA-Polymer Conjugates [PDF]

open access: yesACS Macro Letters, 2017
A modular synthesis of Donor-Acceptor Stenhouse Adduct (DASA) polymer conjugates is described. Pentafluorophenyl-ester chemistry is employed to incorporate aromatic amines into acrylate and methacrylate copolymers, which are subsequently coupled with activated furans to generate polymers bearing a range of DASA units in a modular manner.

Combined Small RNA and Degradome Sequencing Reveals Important Roles of Light-Responsive microRNAs in Wild Potato (Solanum chacoense)

open access: yesAgronomy, 2023
The accumulation of chlorophyll and antinutritional glycoalkaloids in potato tubers resulting from exposure to light has been widely recognized as a cause of unpredictable quality loss of potato tuber.

Genome-Wide Identification, Characterization, and Expression Analysis of BBX Genes During Anthocyanin Biosynthesis in Mango (Mangifera indica L.)

open access: yesBiology
B-box (BBX) transcription factors are critical regulators of light-mediated anthocyanin biosynthesis, influencing peel coloration in plants. To explore their role in red mango cultivars, we identified 32 BBX genes (MiBBX1–MiBBX32) in the mango (Mangifera
