Light-Cone Spreading of Perturbations and the Butterfly Effect in a Classical Spin Chain. [PDF]
We find that the effects of a localized perturbation in a chaotic classical many-body system-the classical Heisenberg chain at infinite temperature-spread ballistically with a finite speed even when the local spin dynamics is diffusive.

Strictly Linear Light Cones in Long-Range Interacting Systems of Arbitrary Dimensions
In locally interacting quantum many-body systems, the velocity of information propagation is finitely bounded, and a linear light cone can be defined. Outside the light cone, the amount of information rapidly decays with distance.

Decay properties of $P$-wave charmed baryons from light-cone QCD sum rules [PDF]
We study decay properties of the P-wave charmed baryons using the method of light-cone QCD sum rules, including the S-wave decays of the flavor 3¯F P-wave charmed baryons into ground-state charmed baryons accompanied by a pseudoscalar meson (π or K) or a

All the entropies on the light-cone [PDF]
We determine the explicit universal form of the entanglement and Renyi entropies, for regions with arbitrary boundary on a null plane or the light-cone. All the entropies are shown to saturate the strong subadditive inequality. This Renyi Markov property

21CMMC with a 3D light-cone: the impact of the co-evolution approximation on the astrophysics of reionization and cosmic dawn [PDF]
We extend 21CMMC, a Monte Carlo Markov Chain sampler of 3D reionisation simulations, to perform parameter estimation directly on 3D light-cones of the cosmic 21cm signal.

Light responses of mammalian cones
Cone photoreceptors provide the foundation of most of human visual experience, but because they are smaller and less numerous than rods in most mammalian retinas, much less is known about their physiology. We describe new techniques and approaches which are helping to provide a better understanding of cone function.

Universal Broadening of the Light Cone in Low-Temperature Transport. [PDF]
We consider the low-temperature transport properties of critical one-dimensional systems that can be described, at equilibrium, by a Luttinger liquid. We focus on the prototypical setting where two semi-infinite chains are prepared in two thermal states ...

Circadian clock regulation of cone to horizontal cell synaptic transfer in the goldfish retina.
Although it is well established that the vertebrate retina contains endogenous circadian clocks that regulate retinal physiology and function during day and night, the processes that the clocks affect and the means by which the clocks control these ...
