Efficient distributed control of light-emitting diode array lighting systems
Optics Letters, 2012We consider illumination rendering with distributed control of a lighting system with an array of light-emitting diodes (LEDs). As low-cost microprocessors become standard components in LED drivers, distributing the computation of the control signals to individual LED drivers becomes attractive.

Analysis of light regime in continuous light distributions in photobioreactors
Bioresource Technology, 2011Maximum photobioreactor (PBR) efficiency is a must in applications such as the obtention of microalgae-derived fuels. Improving PBR performance requires a better understanding of the "light regime", the varying irradiance that microalgal cells moving in a dense culture are exposed to.

Light distribution from rectangular sources
Journal of the Franklin Institute, 1946Abstract The rectangular light source is more frequently encountered in engineering practice than any other form. Thus, both for artificial lighting and natural lighting, it is desirable to have convenient methods of obtaining the light distributions produced by rectangular sources.

Optimization of Lighting Distribution in Road Lighting Luminaire
2018 20th International Symposium on Electrical Apparatus and Technologies (SIELA), 2018An approach for optimal design of light distribution of road lighting lumrnaire with LEDs as light source is introduced. The highest possible average illuminance is obtained with a given set of LEDs by varying the orientation of each elementary light source. The way of overcoming the large scale problem is described in details as well as some practical
