In-medium pion valence distributions in a light-front model
Pion valence distributions in nuclear medium and vacuum are studied in a light-front constituent quark model. The in-medium input for studying the pion properties is calculated by the quark-meson coupling model.

The Distribution of Light in Galaxies [PDF]
The distribution of light in galaxies is their most obvious and fundamental observable property. Hopefully it gives us some insight into their structure and dynamics. In this talk I will review some recent work on ellipticals and disk galaxies. In summary, the luminosity distributions for both these classes have several complexities, the dynamical ...

Lenses for Light Distribution [PDF]
The principle on which lenses for securing a required distribution of light from a given source have been designed is illustrated by a two-dimensional example. The principle employed is to divide the incident and emergent energy into a number of equal parts, and compute the lens system so that the rays which separate off these portions of incident ...

Generalized parton distributions of gluon in proton: A light-front quantization approach
We solve for the gluon generalized parton distributions (GPDs) inside the proton at zero skewness, focusing specifically on leading twist chiral-even GPDs.

Immunoglobulin Depletion and Recovery Following Blinatumomab in Infants With KMT2A‐Rearranged ALL
ABSTRACT Adding blinatumomab to standard chemotherapy for infants with KMT2A‐rearranged acute B‐cell lymphoblastic leukemia (KMT2A‐r B‐ALL) improves outcomes. Although blinatumomab impairs immunoglobulin G (lgG) production, increasing infection susceptibility, IgG recovery remains poorly understood.

Basis light-front quantization approach to photon
We solve for the light-front wave functions (LFWFs) of the physical photon from the eigenvectors of the light-front quantum electrodynamics (QED) Hamiltonian with the aim to determine its bare photon and electron-positron Fock components.

ABSTRACT Background Chronic micro‐inflammation in patients with end‐stage renal disease (ESRD) is a significant driver of cardiovascular complications and diminished quality of life. While standard hemodialysis (SHD) effectively manages small‐molecule clearance, its ability to remove medium‐to‐large uremic toxins—the primary catalysts of systemic ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

QML Estimation of GARCH(1,1) Process [PDF]
In financial time series, the conventional fitting procedure (QMLE) suffers from the outlier problem. Estimation of the parameters in GARCH model, can be adversely affected by a single outlier.simulation studies will not only demonstrate the robustness ...

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative
