Quantum Lightning Never Strikes the Same State Twice [PDF]
Public key quantum money can be seen as a version of the quantum no-cloning theorem that holds even when the quantum states can be verified by the adversary.

Small‐signal modeling reveals that insufficient system damping positions conjugate poles near the imaginary axis, fundamentally explaining the SFR mechanism. A virtual resistance control is consequently proposed to damp the resonance and effectively suppress SFR, which is validated through Hardware‐in‐the‐Loop experiments.

Evaluation Of Lightning Current Parameters Using Measured Lightning Induced Voltage On Distribution Power Lines [PDF]
In this paper, an algorithm had been proposed to evaluate the lightning current parameters using measured voltage from overhead distribution lines based on lightning location obtained from lightning location system. Moreover, the performance of algorithm had been considered using different samples of induced voltage.

Visualising gas heating from an RF plasma loudspeaker [PDF]
In an electro-acoustic transduction mechanism, an ac modulation (here in the audio frequency range) of the electric field in an atmospheric pressure air plasma gives rise to a rapid increase in the gas temperature and dimensions of the gas volume.

This study evaluated four stereotactic radiosurgery planning approaches for posterior choroidal melanoma (CM). Analysis of thirteen CM cases resulted in a clinically meaningful reduction in dose to the brain for Brainlab Elements modulated arcs (BE) and Varian Eclipse HyperArc modulated arcs (HA) compared to Brainlab iPlan dynamic conformal arc therapy

Analysis of Thermal Sensitivity by High Voltage Insulator Materials
Insulators serve bi-fold objectives of holding the conductor and electrical segregation from the grounded structure. For reliable operation of utility, electrical and mechanical strength of insulators are equally significant.

On the estimation of lightning peak currents from measured fields using lightning location systems [PDF]
Although, due to the high variability of key parameters such as the return-stroke speed, it is impossible to determine the lightning current accurately from the remotely measured electric or magnetic field for a given event, we show in this paper that, for an assumed return-stroke model, the statistical estimation (e.g.

Correlative Chemical Imaging to Reveal the Nature of Different Commercial Graphene Materials
Commercial graphene‐based materials from different sources and of varying complexities were investigated correlatively using commonly employed imaging techniques, including SEM, AFM, ToF‐SIMS, AES, and EDS. ToF‐SIMS combined with SEM was identified as the most effective combination for simultaneously resolving the complex morphology and chemical ...
