High Voltage, EarlyView.ABSTRACT This study explores exciting state species and reaction pathways in positive leaders to better understand the breakdown mechanisms of long air gap discharges and natural lightning. Emission spectra from an unstable positive leader in a 1 m rod‐plate air gap under switching impulse voltages were observed, spanning 300–800 nm.

Analysis of characteristics of lightning disaster and risk zoning in Ningbo Area(宁波地区雷电灾害特征分析及风险区划)
Zhejiang Daxue xuebao. Lixue ban, 2014 根据宁波地区ADTD闪电定位系统2010~2012年的地闪监测数据、雷灾资料以及2012年宁波地区人口及GDP数据，选取年平均地闪密度、单位面积雷灾频数、经济损失、人员伤亡、人员易损、经济易损6项指标，在详细分析宁波雷灾分布特征的基础上，采用主成分分析法对宁波各县地区雷灾易损性指标进行综合评价，并利用分层聚类分析法得出：政治经济文化中心的海曙区为雷灾极高易损区，经济发达的江东区以及工业基地镇海区为高易损区，江北区为中易损区，鄞州区、北仑区、象山县、宁海县、奉化市为低易损区，慈溪市和余姚市为极低易损区.
