Evaluation of the properties of lightweight concrete using periwinkle shells as a partial replacement for coarse aggregate

open access: yesJournal of Applied Sciences and Environmental Management, 2016
The properties of lightweight concrete, such as aggregate impact value, aggregate crushing value and compressive strength were assessed utilizing periwinkle shell (PWS) as partial replacement for coarse aggregate.

Bridges With Lightweight Aggregate Concrete Structures

open access: yesThe Baltic Journal of Road and Bridge Engineering, 2006
Traditionally the lightweight aggregate concrete (LWAC) has been applied in buildings for many years. The improvement of the technology of production, mix composition and execution has considerably changed the nowadays LWAC properties. The uses of various admixtures have increased the strength, stress-strain modulus and decreased the creep that allowed

Physical Reservoir Computing for Smart Manufacturing of PCB Using Crystallinity‐Controlled HfO2 Memristor for Reservoir

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
We address multilayer PCB anomaly detection for smart manufacturing by physical reservoir computing with HfO2‐based memristors. Crystallinity‐tuned HfO2 suppresses ferroelectricity while preserving the high‐k insulating state and confers strong short‐term memory.

Rawatan larut resapan menggunakan penjerap media komposit karbon teraktif, zeolit, batu kapur dan enapcemar sisa kertas [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019

Histology and fossil diagenesis of a pterosaur tooth from the Crato Formation (Lower Cretaceous of Brazil)

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Pterosaur dental biology remains poorly understood despite its importance for comprehending feeding strategies and flight adaptations. Here, we present the first comprehensive histological analysis of an ornithocheiriform pterosaur tooth from the Lower Cretaceous Crato Formation (Santana Group, Northeast Brazil).

Decoding Emotional Signatures of Ethical Ads: An Analysis of Actor‐Viewer Synchrony

open access: yesJournal of Consumer Behaviour, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We examine whether ethical advertisements differ from conventional ads in their on‐screen emotional signatures and whether those signatures transfer to actor‐viewer synchrony. Study 1 analyses 138 professionally produced YouTube ads using Automated Facial Expression Recognition (AFER) and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) to quantify actor ...
