Bond strength of polymer lightweight aggregate concrete

open access: yesPolymer Composites, 2013
Bond strength, physical, and mechanical properties of lightweight PC were investigated with inclusion of pumice lightweight aggregate in maximum size of 12 mm. As binder material, epoxy resin‐based polymer was used with its hardener. The binder to aggregate ratio was 30% by weight.

Studi Kuat Tekan Beton Ringan Dengan Metoda Rancang-campur Dreux-corrise [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Concrete as a civil building construction materials have a deficiency or loss that is about the size of the dead load weight of the concrete itself. Dead load on the building structure can be minimized by the use of lightweight concrete.

The influence of OPC and PPC on compressive strength of ALWA concrete

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
Lightweight concrete is one of the options used in construction in lieu of the traditional normal-weight concrete. Due to its lightweight, it provides lighter structural members and thus, it reduces the total weight of the structures.
