ABSTRACT The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), scheduled to become fully operational in 2026, is designed to complement the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) by replacing free emission allowances and preventing carbon leakage to non‐EU regions. CBAM initially covers energy‐intensive sectors, including mineral nitrogen (N) fertiliser production.

The investigations evaluated the performance of the native parasitoid Exorista larvarum (L.) on last instar Cydalima perspectalis (Walker) larvae, using the factitious host Galleria mellonella (L.) as a control. In Liguria region 66% of women (aged 25-64) are screened regularly, meaning every 3 years. Considering regional tariffs and vaccine acquisition cost, the vaccination of 12-year-old girls with a 90% coverage could prevent 22 cases of cervicocarcinoma and 9 related deaths and thus results to be cost-effective (24.584 €/QALY).
