Degradation Mechanisms of Rutile‐Type TiO2 Photoanodes during Photoelectrochemical Water Splitting

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Combining operando dissolution measurements with microscopy and spectroscopy characterizations, we reveal different degradation mechanisms of rutile‐type TiO2 photoanodes during photoelectrochemical water splitting. In acidic electrolytes, degradation is inhibited once TiO2 reaches saturation.

EFFECT OF PULSING IN PRESERVATIVE SOLUTIONS, GROWTH REGULATORS AND COLD STORAGE TREATMENTS ON THE LONGEVITY OF LILY CUT FLOWERS CV. BORSA [PDF]

open access: yesArab Universities Journal of Agricultural Sciences, 2016
The interaction of preservations, growth regulators and cold storage on vase life and quality of Lily (Lilium longiflorum) cut flowers were investigated. Lily cut flowers were treated with 1 ml mol silver thiosulfate (STS), 100 ppm gibberellic acid (GA3),

CrossMatAgent: AI‐Assisted Design of Manufacturable Metamaterial Patterns via Multi‐Agent Generative Framework

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
CrossMatAgent is a multi‐agent framework that combines large language models and diffusion‐based generative AI to automate metamaterial design. By coordinating task‐specific agents—such as describer, architect, and builder—it transforms user‐provided image prompts into high‐fidelity, printable lattice patterns.

Genetic diversity and phylogenetic characteristics of viruses in lily plants in Beijing

open access: yesFrontiers in Microbiology, 2023
Lily (Lilium) is an important bulbous perennial herb that is frequently infected by one or more viruses. To investigate the diversity of lily viruses, lilies with virus-like symptoms in Beijing were collected to perform small RNA deep sequencing.

‘The Other Parent’: A Critical Policy Analysis of Fatherhood Discourses in the Australian Government's Paid Parental Leave Scheme

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Social Issues, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The Australian paid parental leave (PPL) government scheme aims to support working parents through financial assistance and the promotion of gender equality in caregiving responsibilities. However, the scheme's implementation has been critiqued for its gendered design, which marginalises fathers and reinforces traditional gender roles.

Patterns of interspecific variation in labial microarchitecture among anthropoid primates and the evolution of the hominin lips

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Comparative histological and semi‐automated image analysis of primate lips: Masson's trichrome‐stained sagittal sections were segmented to quantify the connective tissue, adipose, and muscular components, enabling interspecific comparisons of labial architecture.
