Complete mitochondrial genomes of the slugs Deroceras laeve (Agriolimacidae) and Ambigolimax valentianus (Limacidae) provide insights into the phylogeny of Stylommatophora (Mollusca, Gastropoda) [PDF]
In this study, we sequenced two complete mitogenomes from Deroceras laeve and Ambigolimax valentianus. The mitogenome of Ambigolimax valentianus represented the first such data from the family Limacidae.

Radionuclide, magnetic resonance and computed tomography imaging in European round back slugs (Arionidae) and leopard slugs (Limacidae) [PDF]
Other than in animal models of human disease, little functional imaging has been performed in most of the animal world. The aim of this study was to explore the functional anatomy of the European round back slug (Arionidae) and leopard slug (Limacidae ...

The toxic effect of zinc oxide nanoparticles on the terrestrial slug Lehmannia nyctelia (Gastropoda-Limacidae) [PDF]
Background Chemicals have deleterious effect on the environment. The wide use of nanomaterials as products for plant protection, fertilizers, and also in water purification leads to the release of these materials to the environment.

First records of introduced slugs of the genus Limacus (Gastropoda: Limacidae) in the Lviv region and their present distribution in Ukraine [PDF]
The first findings of Limacus flavus in the Lviv region, Western Ukraine, are described. One specimen was shown with an atypical body colouration, without yellow mucus covering it, with a monochromatic back and an almost complete absence of a reticulate ...

Terrestrial slugs (Gastropoda, Pulmonata) in the NATURA 2000 areas of Cyprus island [PDF]
Terrestrial slugs of the Island of Cyprus were recently studied in the framework of a study of the whole terrestrial malacofauna of the island. The present work was carried out in the Natura 2000 conservation areas of the island in 155 sampling sites ...

The slugs of Britain and Ireland: undetected and undescribed species increase a well-studied, economically important fauna by more than 20%. [PDF]
The slugs of Britain and Ireland form a well-studied fauna of economic importance. They include many widespread European species that are introduced elsewhere (at least half of the 36 currently recorded British species are established in North America ...
