This work presents a robotic control method for human–robot collaborative assembly based on a biomechanics‐constrained digital human model. Reinforcement learning is used to generate physiologically plausible human motion trajectories, which are integrated into a virtual environment for robot control learning.

Shear‐Isolating Actuation System for Exosuit Using Movable Pulley With Webbing‐Driven Mechanism
Tendon‐driven exosuits can chafe the skin because the moving tendon slides against the wearer. A shear‐isolating actuation system combining a movable pulley with flat‐profile webbing keeps the body‐contacting tendon layer stationary, relocating relative motion away from the skin. The compact 145‐g actuator delivers 150 N of assistance, and benchtop and

Did saber-tooth kittens grow up musclebound? A study of postnatal limb bone allometry in felids from the Pleistocene of Rancho La Brea. [PDF]
Previous studies have demonstrated that the Pleistocene saber-toothed cat Smilodon fatalis had many forelimb adaptations for increased strength, presumably to grapple with and subdue prey.

A high‐loading Zn single‐atom nanozyme (ZMG@CS) delivers ML‐SA5 and GOx to lysosomes. ML‐SA5 activates TRPML1 to release endogenous Zn2+, while the nanozyme provides exogenous Zn2+ and GOx‐driven acidification amplifies ROS production. Together, these effects suppress the HIF‐1α/GLUT1 axis, disrupt glucose and redox homeostasis, induce disulfidptosis ...

Limb bone robusticity is coupled with mass distribution in terrestrial tetrapods
The vertebrate body is a highly modular system within which evolutionary adaptation is expected to occur synchronously at a variety of hierarchical scales, from single tissue to whole organism.

Fibro‐adipogenic progenitors (FAPs) in atrophic muscle undergo YAP1‐driven pathogenic activation, secreting IL‐6 and FGF21 as bone‐catabolic myokines that mediate muscle‐bone crosstalk and promote bone loss. Genetic or pharmacological targeting of this YAP1‐FAP‐myokine axis rescues skeletal deterioration, identifying FAP‐derived myokines as therapeutic

Upper Limb Bone Video for Gross Human Anatomy
Introduction Many students left to their own may not discern the orientation of the scapula in the body, the relationship of the radius and ulna, or the order of the carpal bones. The goal of this video is to prepare students for their study of the upper

Systematic Multi‐Level Analyses Decode the Arthritis‐Neurodegeneration Axis With In Vivo Validation
Arthritis and neurodegeneration are usually studied as separate disorders, but this study connects them through population evidence, genetic inference, transcriptomic mapping, and mouse models. It highlights RNF40 as a context‐dependent joint‐brain candidate, induced in inflammatory joints yet functionally linked to dopamine‐neuron vulnerability ...

A 3D‐printed interpenetrating Ti/Zn composite enables sustained Zn2+ release to regulate intracellular Ca2+ redistribution, preserve mitochondrial homeostasis, activate ERK/MAPK signaling, and promote M2 macrophage polarization, thereby enhancing osteoimmune‐mediated bone regeneration and peri‐implant osseointegration.

Maternal exercise (ME) increases apelin abundance across maternal and fetal tissues and is associated with improved fetal osteogenesis under POLG mutation‐induced mitochondrial dysfunction. Apelin‐APJ signaling is linked to enhanced mitochondrial function, Akt phosphorylation, and ATF4‐RUNX2 association, supporting coordinated fetal bone remodeling ...
