TRPM7 Deficiency Accelerates Vascular Senescence by Inhibiting H3K18 Lactylation

open access: yesAging Cell, EarlyView.
TRPM7 deficiency reduces lactate production in endothelial cells and downregulates both p300 expression and nuclear translocation. These changes collectively lead to decreased H3K18 lactylation levels. Consequently, this downregulates genes vital for vascular homeostasis while upregulating genes associated with aging and vascular remodeling (including ...

Human Umbilical Cord Mesenchymal Stem Cells Ameliorate Cognitive Decline by Restoring Senescent Microglial Function via NF‐κB‐SREBP1 Pathway Inhibition

open access: yesAging Cell, EarlyView.
Human umbilical cord‐derived mesenchymal stem cells (hUC‐MSCs) ameliorate age‐related cognitive decline by targeting senescent microglia. They attenuate microglial senescence, reduce LD accumulation, and inhibit the NF‐κB‐SREBP1 signaling pathway, ultimately mitigating neuroinflammation and neuronal damage.

Drug‐Induced Periocular and Ocular Surface Disorders: An EAACI Position Paper

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Various systemic and topical medications can induce ocular and periocular cutaneous adverse effects (AEs), ranging from mild to severe. These AEs may lead to ocular surface (OS) damage and, in some cases, life‐threatening complications. Drug‐induced ocular adverse reactions are generally classified into two primary categories: toxic reactions ...

Duplex Ultrasound Surveillance After Endovascular Therapy for Peripheral Artery Disease: An Australian and New Zealand Study

open access: yesANZ Journal of Surgery, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Current practice guidelines lack consensus on optimal surveillance strategies following endovascular interventions for peripheral artery disease (PAD). This study evaluated surveillance practices among vascular surgeons in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), focusing on duplex ultrasound (DUS) use and factors influencing surveillance ...
