Stochastic sensitivity and noise-induced bifurcations of limit cycles [PDF]

open access: yesApplied Mathematical Sciences, 2013
Deformations of limit cycles for dynamical systems forced by random disturbances are studied. A mathematical tool based on stochastic sensitivity analysis is shortly presented. A phenomenon of noise-induced bifurcation of supersensitive limit cycle of randomly forced Brusselator is discussed.

Spatiotemporal dynamics for a diffusive mussel–algae model near a Hopf bifurcation point

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2021
In this paper, the Hopf bifurcation and Turing instability for a mussel–algae model are investigated. Through analysis of the corresponding kinetic system, the existence and stability conditions of the equilibrium and the type of Hopf bifurcation are ...

EVALUATION OF VOLTAGE STABILITY DYNAMIC LOADING MARGIN CONSIDERING THE EFFECT OF LOAD MODELS, EXCITATION SYSTEM PARAMETERS AND REACTIVE POWER GENERATION LIMITS OF GENERATORS WITH A COMBINATION METHOD [PDF]

open access: yesمجله مدل سازی در مهندسی, 2010
Nowadays, Voltage stability is an important types of power system stabilities. To analysis of voltage stability, different static and dynamic boundaries such as maximum Loadability point (MLP) and bifurcation points such as saddle node bifurcation (SNB),

Inhibitory autapse with time delay induces mixed-mode oscillations related to unstable dynamical behaviors near subcritical Hopf bifurcation

open access: yesElectronic Research Archive, 2022
Mixed-mode oscillations (MMOs) consisting of spikes alternating with a series of subthreshold oscillations have been observed in various neurons related to some physiological functions.

The transition between stochastic and deterministic behavior in an excitable gene circuit. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2012
We explore the connection between a stochastic simulation model and an ordinary differential equations (ODEs) model of the dynamics of an excitable gene circuit that exhibits noise-induced oscillations.

Nonlinear Flutter Analysis for a Long-Span Suspension Bridge

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2021
The wind-induced flutter of the long-span suspension bridge structure is extremely harmful to the bridge. Therefore, it is necessary to study the nonlinear problem of wind-induced flutter.

Noise-induced escape from bifurcating attractors: Symplectic approach in the weak-noise limit [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review E, 2009
The effect of noise is studied in one-dimensional maps undergoing transcritical, tangent, and pitchfork bifurcations. The attractors of the noiseless map become metastable states in the presence of noise. In the weak-noise limit, a symplectic two-dimensional map is associated with the original one-dimensional map.
