This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.

The limits of mathematics in physics
Mathematics is considered the language of physics. Starting from idealizations and kinematics, geometric-mathematical physics with paradigms such as flexible spacetime and dark energy has emerged whose physical reality has not been clarified. By analyzing processes regarding their causes and the functional dependencies of energies, this work identifies

Some Bounds for Almost Absorbing Birth and Death Processes with Catastrophes [PDF]
2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 60J27.We consider nonstationary almost absorbing birth and death processes (BDPs) with catastrophes. The bounds of the rate of convergence to the limit regime and the estimates of the limit probabilities are ...

Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

The Limits of Mathematics (in C)
This is a shortened version of "The Limits of Mathematics--Course Outline & Software" (IBM Research Report RC 19324, December 1993) in which all Mathematica code has either been deleted or, if absolutely necessary, replaced by C code. The intention is to make this material available to a wider audience.
