Random sums of random vectors and multitype families of productive individuals
We prove limit theorems for a family of random vectors whose coordinates are a special form of random sums of Bernoulli random variables. Applying these limit theorems, we study the number of productive individuals in n-type indecomposable critical ...

Strong limit theorems for anisotropic self-similar fields
Our paper starts from presentation and comparison of three definitions for the self-similar field. The interconnection between these definitions has been established.

Limit theorems for monochromatic stars
LetT(K1,r,Gn) be the number of monochromatic copies of ther‐starK1,rin a uniformly random coloring of the vertices of the graphGn. In this paper we provide a complete characterization of the limiting distribution ofT(K1,r,Gn), in the regime whereis bounded, for any growing sequence of graphsGn.

Programmable 2D magnetic clusterphenes are realized through a ligand‐mediated cluster‐assembly strategy. Direct linking of magnetic superatomic clusters enhances electron delocalization and symmetry breaking, enabling the concurrent strengthening of magnetic exchange interactions and spin–orbit coupling.

Functional central limit theorems on Lie groups: A survey [PDF]
The general solution of the functional central limit problems for triangular arrays of random variables with values in a Lie group is described. The role of processes of finite variation is clarified.

Random polytopes: Central limit theorems for intrinsic volumes [PDF]
Short and transparent proofs of central limit theorems for intrinsic volumes of random polytopes in smooth convex bodies are presented. They combine different tools such as estimates for floating bodies with Stein’s method from probability theory.

Effective control over the crystalline contact plane and microstructure of a naphthalenediimide‐bithiazole copolymer enables high‐performance n‐type thermoelectrics. While rubbing alignment induces a detrimental edge‐on orientation, subsequent solvent vapor‐induced re‐orientation facilitates a favorable mixed face‐on/edge‐on morphology.

Spin and Charge Control of Topological End States in Chiral Graphene Nanoribbons on a 2D Ferromagnet
Chiral graphene nanoribbons on a ferromagnetic gadolinium‐gold surface alloy display tunable spin and charge states at their termini. Atomic work function variations and exchange fields enabe transitions between singlet, doublet, and triplet configurations.

Equivalence of ensembles for two-species zero-range invariant measures [PDF]
We study the equivalence of ensembles for stationary measures of interacting particle systems with two conserved quantities and unbounded local state space.

Convergence Theorems for Partial Sums of Arbitrary Stochastic Sequences
By using Doob's martingale convergence theorem, this paper presents a class of strong limit theorems for arbitrary stochastic sequence. Chow's two strong limit theorems for martingale-difference sequence and Loève's and Petrov's strong limit ...
