Health data standards’ limitations
2022Data represent foundational assets of any healthcare delivery system. Clinical data form the basis of electronic communications from point of data collection to storage and archiving. Computers cannot handle ambivalence, hence the need for the widespread adoption of technical and terminology standards.

On data-limited and resource-limited processes
Cognitive Psychology, 1975Abstract This paper analyzes the effect on performance when several active processes compete for limited processing resources. The principles discussed show that conclusions about the interactions among psychological processes must be made with caution, and some existing assumptions may be unwarranted.

Pushing the Limits of Learning from Limited Data
Proceedings of the AAAI Symposium Series, 2023What is the mechanism behind people's remarkable ability to learn from very little data, and what are its limits? Preliminary evidence suggests people can infer categories from extremely sparse data, even when they have fewer labeled examples than categories. However, the mechanisms behind this learning process are unclear.
