Adherence to Protocol Recommendations for Children With Wilms Tumour in Two Consecutive Studies in the United Kingdom and Ireland—Does Variation Matter?

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background and Aims Wilms tumour (WT) has excellent event‐free and overall survival (OS). However, small differences exist between countries participating in the same international study. This led us to examine variation in adherence to protocol recommendations as a potential contributing factor.

Sirolimus for Extracranial Arteriovenous Malformations: A Scoping Review of the Evidence in Syndromic and Non‐Syndromic Cases

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are rare, high‐flow, vascular anomalies that can occur either sporadically or as part of a genetic syndrome. AVMs can progress with serious morbidity and even mortality if left unchecked. Sirolimus is an mTOR inhibitor that is effective in low‐flow vascular malformations; however, its role in AVMs is unclear.

Limits of the trivial bundle on a curve

open access: yes, 2018
We attempt to describe the rank 2 vector bundles on a curve C which are specializations of the trivial bundle. We get a complete classifications when C is Brill-Noether generic, or when it is hyperelliptic; in both cases all limit vector bundles are ...

Evaluating the Utility of Paired Tumor and Germline Targeted DNA Sequencing for Pediatric Oncology Patients: A Single Institution Report

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the diagnostic yield and utility of universal paired tumor–normal multigene panel sequencing in newly diagnosed pediatric solid and central nervous system (CNS) tumor patients and to compare the detection of germline pathogenic/likely pathogenic variants (PV/LPVs) against established clinical referral criteria for cancer ...

[PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
We consider quasilinear symmetric hyperbolic boundary problems in several space dimen- sions, with maximal dissipative conditions on a boundary noncharacteristic or characteristic of constant multiplicity.

Lipschitz stability estimate in the inverse Robin problem for the Stokes system [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We are interested in the inverse problem of recovering a Robin coefficient defined on some non accessible part of the boundary from available data on another part of the boundary in the nonstationary Stokes system. We prove a Lipschitz stability estimate

Limiting limited liability [PDF]

open access: yesEconomics Bulletin, 2006
Limited liability may result in inefficient accident prevention, because a relevant portion of the expected harm is externalized on victims. This paper shows that under some restrictive conditions further limiting liability by means of a liability cap can improve caretaking.
