Abstract Background SUNRISE‐PD was a dose‐escalating, phase 1/2 study investigating a second‐generation lentiviral vector gene therapy delivering the genes for dopamine synthesis (OXB‐102) to treat Parkinson's disease (PD). The trial was prematurely terminated due to insolvency of the sponsor.

CBAM initially covers energy‐intensive sectors, including mineral nitrogen (N) fertiliser production.

Dung beetles suppressed cumulative methane flux from cattle dung by 85% and reduced total greenhouse gas emissions by 18%. Beetle activity accelerated initial CO2 release but did not alter total cumulative flux. N2O and NH3 fluxes were transient and not consistently driven by beetle presence.

The Heterogeneous Regional Employment Effects of Environmental Policies

ABSTRACT This paper examines the effects of Environmental Policies—measured by the OECD Environmental Policy Stringency Index (EPS)—on employment in 349 regions across 26 countries from 1990 to 2020. We find that more stringent EPS have short‐term negative effects on regional employment, which disappear in the medium term.
