A Reliable Strategy to Unravel the Structure and Composition of Semiconducting Conjugated Donor‐Acceptor Block Copolymers

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work proposes a reliable strategy to elucidate the structure and composition of conjugated donor‐acceptor block copolymers. The method, based on NMR analysis, allows to extract key structural information such as the number of heterojunctions (NoH) and the number of blocks (NoB) of the copolymers.

Non-Line-of-Sight Identification Based on Unsupervised Machine Learning in Ultra Wideband Systems

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Identification of line-of-sight (LOS) and non-line-of-sight (NLOS) propagation conditions is very useful in ultra wideband localization systems. In the identification, supervised machine learning is often used, but it requires exorbitant efforts to ...

Non‐Invasively Tracking an Arbitrary Deformable Object Through Scattering Media and Around Corners via Speckle Correlations

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A speckle correlation centroid localization method (SCCLM) is proposed for non‐invasive tracking of an arbitrary deformable object through scattering media and around corners, requiring no prior information. Its effectiveness is demonstrated not only in tracking hidden objects beyond the memory effect region but also in following objects undergoing ...

Accurate Multiclass NLOS Channels Identification in UWB Indoor Positioning System-Based Deep Neural Network

open access: yesIEEE Access
The accurate distinction between line-of-sight (LOS) and non-line-of-sight (NLOS) propagation channels is paramount for precise distance measurement within ultra-wideband (UWB) indoor localization systems.

WLS Localization Using Skipped Filter, Hampel Filter, Bootstrapping and Gaussian Mixture EM in LOS/NLOS Conditions

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
We present robust range-based localization algorithms for which range measurements are used to estimate the location parameter. Non-line-of-sight (NLOS) propagation of signal can deteriorate the estimation performance severely in the indoor and crowded ...

Conformal Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces: A Cylindrical Geometry Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Cylindrical reconfigurable intelligent surfaces are explored for low‐complexity beam steering using one‐bit meta‐atoms. A multi‐level modeling approach, including optimization‐based synthesis, demonstrates that even minimal hardware can support directive scattering.
