Lutetia׳s lineaments

Planetary and Space Science, 2014
The European Space Agency׳s Rosetta spacecraft flew by asteroid (21) Lutetia on July 10, 2010. Observations through the OSIRIS camera have revealed many geological features. Lineaments are identified on the entire observed surface of the asteroid. Many of these features are concentric around the North Pole Crater Cluster (NPCC).

Mars: The Lineament Systems

Science, 1972
Analysis of the Mariner 4, Mariner 6, and Mariner 7 photographs shows that Mars has at least two distinct types of lineament systems. The most prominent is a well-developed global-type system. The second consists of radial and concentric lineaments associated with the Hellas and south polar basins.

Classification of Mars Lineament and Non-Lineament Structure Based on ResNet50

2020 IEEE International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering and Computer Applications( AEECA), 2020
This article will give a brief introduction about training ResNet to classify the non-lineament and lineament structure on Mars surface, which is specific referring to crater and lineament structure which are dorsum and vallis. We build a dataset containing 300 samples of each category and splitting them into training set and test whose proportion is 4:

Lineaments Revisited

SEG Discovery, 2000
ABSTRACT Large-scale crustal lineaments are recognized as corridors (up to 30 km wide) of aligned geological, structural, geomorphological, or geophysical features that are distinct from regional geological trends such as outcrop traces.

Lineament-preserving filtering

GEOPHYSICS, 2007
Recently developed seismic attributes such as volumetric curvature and amplitude gradients enhance our ability to detect lineaments. However, because these attributes are based on derivatives of either dip and azimuth or the seismic data themselves, they can also enhance high-frequency noise.

Oregon-Nevada lineament

Geology, 1975
The Oregon-Nevada lineament is a 750-km-long northwest-to north-northwest-trending belt of closely spaced, partly en echelon faults extending from central Oregon to central Nevada. The lineament is also marked by centers of volcanic activity that yielded voluminous late Miocene lava flows in Nevada and Miocene and younger volcanic rocks in Oregon.
