Mathematics of the USSR-Izvestiya, 1974
In this article we propose an effective method for the approximate solution of linear differential equations with polynomial coefficients, for which the coefficient of the highest derivative is different from zero on the segment being considered. The approximating apparatus for the required solution is provided by a certain sequence of polynomials ...

A Method for the Approximate Solution of Linear Integro-Differential Equations
SIAM Journal on Numerical Analysis, 1974Approximate methods for solving a class of linear integro-differential equations of the Fredholm type are discussed. The integro-differential equations are reduced to Fredholm integral equations and Nystrom’s method is used to establish numerical procedures. A convergence theorem is given for a simple integro-differential equation.

Finite penalty methods with a linear approximation of the constraints. I
Cybernetics, 1984One investigates a mathematical programming problem with constraints in the form of inequalities and methods for its solution, based on the use of a nondifferentiable penalty function. Special attention has been given to the problem of the selection of a finite penalty parameter, ensuring the non-local convergence to the solution.

The method of successive approximations for linear equations in hilbert space
USSR Computational Mathematics and Mathematical Physics, 1973A method of successive approximations is constructed for linear equations of the form ƒ (E - S) ϑ with an arbitrary non-increasing operator S acting in the Hilbert space H.
