Cascade decomposition of linear time-varying difference operators
Two methods are given for the cascade decomposition of a scalar time-varying difference operator, of order m, under the assumption that m linearly independent solutions of the homogeneous equation are known. The relationship between the two decomposition schemes obtained by the two methods is derived, and an example is given.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

On Solutions of Holonomic Divided-Difference Equations on Nonuniform Lattices
The main aim of this paper is the development of suitable bases that enable the direct series representation of orthogonal polynomial systems on nonuniform lattices (quadratic lattices of a discrete or a q-discrete variable). We present two bases of this

Quotient-difference type generalizations of the power method and their analysis [PDF]
The recursion relations that were proposed by W. F. Ford and A. Sidi (Appl. Numer. Math, 4 (1988), pp. 477-489) for implementing vector extrapolation methods are used for devising generalizations of the power method for linear operators.

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Construction of a Lax Pair for the E_6^{(1)} q-Painlevé System
We construct a Lax pair for the $ E^{(1)}_6 $ $q$-Painlevé system from first principles by employing the general theory ofsemi-classical orthogonal polynomial systems characterised by divided-difference operators on discrete, quadratic lattices [arXiv ...

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Stretching exercises for low back pain among dump truck operators in Indonesia
Introduction: Dump truck operators are at a greater risk of developing low back pain due to their occupational exposures. This study aimed to determine the effect of stretching exercises, especially pain intensity and flexibility, on low back pain among
