WEIGHTED SHARING OF ENTIRE FUNCTIONS CONCERNING LINEAR DIFFERENCE OPERATORS

Electronic Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications
Summary: In this research article, we investigates the value distribution of linear \(q\)-difference operators \(L_k(f, \Delta_{q,c})\) and \(L_k(g, \Delta_{q,c})\), for a transcendental entire functions of zero order. At the same time we also investigate the uniqueness problems when two linearq-difference operators of entire functions share one value ...

On the Operational Solution of Linear Finite Difference Equations

Mathematical Proceedings of the Cambridge Philosophical Society, 1931
The application of the operational method of Oliver Heaviside to the solution of linear differential equations has been fully described in a recent Cambridge Tract by Dr H. Jeffreys.

New estimates for the differences of positive linear operators

Numerical Algorithms, 2016
Some inequalities established for a positive linear functional allow to obtain new estimations for differences of certain positive linear operators. Applications for some known positive linear operators are also given.

Spectral Analysis of Linear Differential Operators and Semigroups of Finite-Difference Operators: II

Differential Equations, 2001
In a previous paper [\textit{A. G. Baskakov}, Differ. Equations 33, 1305-1312 (1997; Zbl 0929.34065)], the author defined two linear operators \(\mathcal L_U\) and \(\mathcal L_V\), on the basis of two strongly continuous families \(\mathcal U\) of backward evolution operators and \(\mathcal V\) of forward evolution operators, respectively, in an ...

Linear Operators Associated with Differential and Difference Systems: What Is Different?

2020
The existence of a densely defined operator associated with (time-reversed) discrete symplectic systems is discussed and the necessity of the development of the spectral theory for these systems by using linear relations instead of operators is shown. An explanation of this phenomenon is provided by using the time scale calculus.

Spectral analysis of linear differential operators, and semigroups of difference operators. I

1997
The author studies spectral properties of a linear operator \(Lu\) acting in a Banach space of vector functions, defined on the semiaxis, with the domain \(D(Lu)\subset L_p\to L_p\), \(p\in[1,\infty]\). He proves that \(Lu\) is the infinitesimal generator of a strongly continuous semigroup of operators from the Banach algebra \(\text{End} L_p ...

Asymptotic Stability of Linear Delay Difference Equations Including Generalized Difference Operator

2019
In this study, some necessary and sufficient conditions are given for the stability of linear delay difference equations involving generalized difference operator. For the root analysis Schur-Cohn criteria is used and some examples are given to verify the results.
