Development of identification methods for fractional differential equations with riemann-liouville fractional derivative

open access: yesVestnik Samarskogo Gosudarstvennogo Tehničeskogo Universiteta. Seriâ: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki, 2014
The methods for parametric identification of fractional differential operators with $\alpha \on (1, 2)$ degree according to instantaneous values of experimental observations based on the Barrett differential equation example are suggested. The methods are

On linear differential-algebraic equations and linearizations [PDF]

open access: yesApplied Numerical Mathematics, 1995
On the background of a careful analysis of linear DAEs, linearizations of nonlinear index-2 systems are considered. Finding appropriate function spaces and their topologies allows to apply the standard Implicit Function Theorem again. Both, solvability statements as well as the local convergence of the Newton-Kantorovich method (quasilinearization ...

Invariance of Hyers-Ulam stability of linear differential equations and its applications

open access: yes, 2015
We prove that the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of linear differential equations of nth order (defined on I) is invariant under any monotone one-to-one correspondence τ:I→J$\tau: I \to J$ which is n times continuously differentiable.

MET variants with activating N‐lobe mutations identified in hereditary papillary renal cell carcinomas still require ligand stimulation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
MET variants in the N‐lobe of the kinase domain, found in hereditary papillary renal cell carcinoma, require ligand stimulation to promote cell transformation, in contrast to other RTK variants. This suggests that HGF expression in the microenvironment is important for tumor growth in such patients. Their sensitivity to MET inhibitors opens the way for

Local estimates for modified Riccati equation in theory of half-linear differential equation

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2012
In this paper we study the half-linear differential equation \begin{equation*} \bigl(r(t)\Phi_p(x')\bigr)'+c(t)\Phi_p(x)=0, \end{equation*} where $\Phi_p(x)=|x|^{p-2}x$, $p>1$. Using modified Riccati technique and suitable local estimates for terms

TOMM20 as a driver of cancer aggressiveness via oxidative phosphorylation, maintenance of a reduced state, and resistance to apoptosis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
TOMM20 increases cancer aggressiveness by maintaining a reduced state with increased NADH and NADPH levels, oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS), and apoptosis resistance while reducing reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels. Conversely, CRISPR‐Cas9 knockdown of TOMM20 alters these cancer‐aggressive traits.

Plasma lipidomic and metabolomic profiles in high‐grade glioma patients before and after 72‐h presurgery water‐only fasting

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Presurgery 72‐h fasting in GB patients leads to adaptations of plasma lipids and polar metabolites. Fasting reduces lysophosphatidylcholines and increases free fatty acids, shifts triglycerides toward long‐chain TGs and increases branched‐chain amino acids, alpha aminobutyric acid, and uric acid.

Loewy decomposition of linear differential equations [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 2007 international symposium on Symbolic and algebraic computation, 2007
This paper explains the developments on factorization and decomposition of linear differential equations in the last two decades. The results are applied for developing solution procedures for these differential equations. Although the subject is more than 100 years old, it has been rediscovered as recently as about 20 years ago.
