Intrinsic Quantization of Linear Hamiltonian Systems [PDF]
This article discusses the quantization of linear Hamiltonian systems, a historically rich but under explored line of research. The key idea is that a classical linear Hamiltonian system induces on its phase space a compatible complex structure and ...

Linear Port-Hamiltonian Systems Are Generically Controllable [PDF]
The new concept of relative generic subsets is introduced. It is shown that the set of controllable linear finite-dimensional port-Hamiltonian systems is a relative generic subset of the set of all linear finite-dimensional port-Hamiltonian systems.

On stability of motion of satellite [PDF]
In this paper we consider the translational and rotational motion of satellites around the Earth. First, we study the motion of an arrow-type satellite. We consider the system of equations of motion in the first approximation.

On stability of motion of unbalanced gyroscope [PDF]
In this paper we consider the stability of motion of an unbalanced gyroscope with a flexible shaft in gimbal suspension.Gyroscopes are used to control the stability of boom tower cranes.

Limit cycles of planar piecewise linear Hamiltonian differential systems with two or three zones
In this paper, we study the existence of limit cycles in continuous and discontinuous planar piecewise linear Hamiltonian differential system with two or three zones separated by straight lines and such that the linear systems that define the piecewise ...

Discontinuous linear Hamiltonian systems
We study a discontinuous linear Hamiltonian system. We obtain a result on the existence and uniqueness of solutions. Later, we introduce the corresponding maximal and minimal operators for this problem and the self-adjoint extensions of such a minimal operator are established. Finally, we obtain an eigenfunction expansion.

Extending Complex Conjugate Control to Nonlinear Wave Energy Converters
This paper extends the concept of Complex Conjugate Control (CCC) of linear wave energy converters (WECs) to nonlinear WECs by designing optimal limit cycles with Hamiltonian Surface Shaping and Power Flow Control (HSSPFC).

Oscillation of linear Hamiltonian systems
The authors investigate oscillatory properties of the linear Hamiltonian system \[ x'=A(t)x+B(t)u,\quad u'=C(t)x-A^T(t)u, \tag{*} \] where \(A,B,C\) are \(n\times n\)-matrices with continuous entries for \(t\in [t_0,\infty)\), \(B,C\) are symmetric and the matrix \(B\) is supposed to be positive definite.
