Linear nonsaturating magnetoresistance in the Nowotny chimney ladder compound Ru2Sn3 [PDF]
We present magnetoresistivity measurements in high-quality single crystals of the Nowotny chimney ladder compound Ru2Sn3. We find a linear and nonsaturating magnetoresistance up to 20 T. The magnetoresistance changes with the magnetic field orientation

B^{2} to B-linear magnetoresistance due to impeded orbital motion
Strange metals exhibit a variety of anomalous magnetotransport properties, the most striking of which is a resistivity that increases linearly with magnetic field B over a broad temperature and field range. The ubiquity of this behavior across a spectrum

Linear magnetoresistance in mosaic-like bilayer graphene [PDF]
Contrary to common belief, bilayer graphene is not defect-free: the abundance of partial dislocations leads to a mosaic-like network structure. As a result, as now shown, the magnetoresistance of bilayer graphene depends linearly, rather than quadratically, on the external magnetic field.

Large magnetoresistance effect in nitrogen-doped silicon
In this work, we reported a large magnetoresistance effect in silicon by ion implantation of nitrogen atoms. At room temperature, the magnetoresistance of silicon reaches 125 % under magnetic field 1.7 T and voltage bias -80 V. By applying an alternating

Large linear magnetoresistance and magnetothermopower in layered SrZnSb2 [PDF]
We report the large linear magnetoresistance (∼300% in 9 T field at 2 K) and magnetothermopower in layered SrZnSb2 crystal with quasi-two-dimensional Sb layers. A crossover from the semiclassical parabolic field dependent magnetoresistance to linear field dependent magnetoresistance with increasing magnetic field is observed.

Large tunable linear magnetoresistance in gold nanoparticle decorated graphene [PDF]
We propose and demonstrate gold nanoparticle decorated graphene as an ideal system for studying carrier inhomogeneity induced magnetoresistance. Large linear magnetoresistance has been realized in the system and the magnitude can be tuned by a gate.

Large linear non-saturating magnetoresistance and high mobility in ferromagnetic MnBi
Ferromagnetic systems rarely display a large or non-saturating magnetoresistance, due to the low Fermi velocity of the predominant charge carrier. Here, the authors show that MnBi, a ferromagnet, bucks this trend, showing both large and non-saturating ...

Large, linear c-axis magnetoresistance in YBa2Cu3O7−δ [PDF]
Underdoped YBa2Cu3O7-δ single crystals exhibit a large, positive c-axis magnetoresistance that is strikingly linear over a wide magnetic field range up to 60 T.

Resummation for the field-theoretical derivation of the negative magnetoresistance
We show detailed derivation of the electric conductivity of quark matter at finite temperature and density under a magnetic field. We especially focus on the longitudinal electric conductivity along the magnetic direction and establish the field ...

INCREASE OF THE LINEAR MAGNETORESISTANCE OF INDIUM BY ARTIFICAL VOIDS [PDF]
L'augmentation de la magnéto-résistance de l'indium due à des cavités artificielles a été étudiée. La magnéto-résistance linéaire se trouve en effet beaucoup accrue par les cavités, en accord avec les calculs théoriques classiques. The increase of the ...
