ABSTRACT This study examines sectoral heterogeneity in corporate biodiversity disclosure (CBD) among Chinese listed firms over the period 2001–2023. Drawing on stakeholder, institutional, and resource dependency theories, it investigates how environmental exposure, ownership structures, and market dynamics influence biodiversity risk recognition and ...

Digital Technology's Role in Circular Waste Management: A Systematic Review
ABSTRACT Combining circular economy ideas with digital tools offers a game‐changing way to tackle global sustainability problems. This paper focuses on how digital changes and circular economy models link up. A review has been conducted for 112 articles from 2021 to September 2025, using PRISMA‐2020 methodology. This study covered new tech like AI, IoT,

Optimal model‐based design of experiments for parameter precision: Supercritical extraction case
Abstract This study investigates the process of chamomile oil extraction from flowers. A parameter‐distributed model consisting of a set of partial differential equations is used to describe the governing mass transfer phenomena in a cylindrical packed bed with solid chamomile particles under supercritical conditions using carbon dioxide as a solvent ...

Abstract Biostimulants are increasingly used in agriculture to promote plant growth, improve stress tolerance, and support sustainable farming practices. One common method of production is chemical hydrolysis of protein‐rich waste, such as tannery by‐products, offering an economical and eco‐friendly alternative to conventional raw materials.

Restricted Tweedie stochastic block models
Abstract The stochastic block model (SBM) is a widely used framework for community detection in networks, where the network structure is typically represented by an adjacency matrix. However, conventional SBMs are not directly applicable to an adjacency matrix that consists of nonnegative zero‐inflated continuous edge weights.

A goodness‐of‐fit test for regression models with discrete outcomes
Abstract Regression models are often used to analyze discrete outcomes, but classical goodness‐of‐fit tests such as those based on the deviance or Pearson's statistic can be misleading or have little power in this context. To address this issue, we propose a new test, inspired by the work of Czado et al.

Solving generic parametric linear matrix inequalities
We consider linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) $A = A_0 + x_1 A_1 + ... + x_n A_n \succeq 0$ with the $A_i$'s being $m \times m$ symmetric matrices, with entries in a ring $\mathcal{R}$. When $\mathcal{R} = \mathbb{R}$, the feasibility problem consists in deciding whether the $x_i$'s can be instantiated to obtain a positive semidefinite matrix.
