Neighborhoods of an Ordinary Linear Differential Equation
2001In this paper the notion of neighborhood of a linear ordinary differential equation with constant coefficients is introduced. The general concept of neighborhood is often used in Scientific Computation where involved data have limited accuracy. In this context we introduce the notion of pseudo-integral of a differential equation. Furthermore we use the

Linearized methods for ordinary differential equations
Applied Mathematics and Computation, 1999The linearized \(\Theta\)-techniques and time-linearized methods for the solution of ordinary differential equations are considered. It is shown that both methods are implicit and provide explicit maps, but they do not preserve the energy in conservative systems.

Ordinary Linear Differential Equations
2018The automatic control techniques employed in classical control require knowledge of the mathematical model of the physical system to be controlled. As has been shown in Chap. 2, these mathematical models are differential equations. The controller is designed as another differential equation that must be connected in closed-loop to the system to be ...

Linearization of Ordinary Differential Equations
1993Abstract Lie group approach is discussed to linearization of second and first order ordinary differential equations. For first order equations we use changes of the dependent variable only while for second order equations general changes of dependent and independent variables are considered.
