A Multi-Moded RF Delay Line Distribution System for the Next Linear Collider
The Delay Line Distribution System (DLDS) is an alternative to conventional pulse compression, which enhances the peak power of rf sources while matching the long pulse of those sources to the shorter filling time of accelerator structures. We present an

Design and performance of a high resolution, low latency stripline beam position monitor system
A high-resolution, low-latency beam position monitor (BPM) system has been developed for use in particle accelerators and beam lines that operate with trains of particle bunches with bunch separations as low as several tens of nanoseconds, such as future

Paraxial optics of charged particles in solenoids
Paraxial optics of charged particles in solenoid magnets with axisymmetric field is considered. Analytic and symplectic transverse maps for charged particle motion through solenoids with 3D magnetic fields have been derived.

Phytohormone brassinosteroid‐induced gene regulation by the transcription factor BIL1/BZR1 involves redox‐dependent DNA‐binding alternation and interaction with the transcription factor PIF4. The reduced BIL1/BZR1 dimer binds preferred cis‐elements, while oxidation alters its oligomerization state and disrupts DNA‐binding ability.

Conversion coefficients for determination of dispersed photon dose during radiotherapy: NRUrad input code for MCNP. [PDF]
Radiotherapy is a common cancer treatment module, where a certain amount of dose will be delivered to the targeted organ. This is achieved usually by photons generated by linear accelerator units.
