Circular polarization transmitarray element with linear polarization feed

A dual-resonant quad-layer transmitarray element is proposed in this paper. The element can be used to construct a circularly polarized transmitarray which converts linearly polarized incident wave into circularly polarized outgoing wave. The element operates at 30GHz and is designed through the principle of multilayer frequency selective approach [1].

The performance of coma and color corrected linear Fresnel lenses for solar concentration is evaluated for use in polar tracking systems. Effective concentrations of up to 90 at 75% efficiency were obtained.
