Linear Satisfiability Preserving Assignments
In this paper, we study several classes of satisfiability preserving assignments to the constraint satisfaction problem (CSP). In particular, we consider fixable, autark and satisfying assignments. Since it is in general NP-hard to find a nontrivial (i.e., nonempty) satisfiability preserving assignment, we introduce linear satisfiability preserving ...

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Linear Mappings that Preserve Potent Operators [PDF]
Summary: Let \(H\) and \(K\) be complex Hilbert spaces, while \({\mathcal B}(H)\) and \({\mathcal B}(K)\) denote the algebras of all linear bounded operators on \(H\) and \(K\), respectively. We characterize surjective linear mappings from \({\mathcal B}(H)\) onto \({\mathcal B}(K)\) that preserve potent operators in both directions.

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Outer preserving linear operators
The authors investigate bounded linear operators acting on the Hardy space \(H^2\) of analytic functions on the unit disc \(\mathbb{D}\) which preserve the set of \textit{shifted outer functions}. Recall that \(H^2\cong \ell^2(\mathbb{Z}_+)\), the isomorphism is given by \(\vec{a} = (a_k) \leftrightarrow f: f(z) = \sum_k a_k z^k\).

Mechanisms of IgE‐mediated food allergy and the role of allergen‐specific B cells
Food allergy arises when allergen‐specific B cells preferentially produce immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies against harmless foods. This article explains the mechanisms driving IgE‐mediated reactions, highlights the central role of these B cells, and discusses how natural tolerance (NT) and oral immunotherapy (OIT) can reshape allergic immune responses.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Characterizing operations preserving separability measures via linear preserver problems [PDF]
We use classical results from the theory of linear preserver problems to characterize operators that send the set of pure states with Schmidt rank no greater than k back into itself, extending known results characterizing operators that send separable pure states to separable pure states.
