New criteria for exponential stability of linear neutral differential systems with distributed delays [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
summary:We present new explicit criteria for exponential stability of general linear neutral time-varying differential systems. Particularly, our results give extensions of the well-known stability criteria reported in [3,11] to linear neutral time ...

On the Stability of Convection in a Non-Newtonian Vertical Fluid Layer in the Presence of Gold Nanoparticles: Drug Agent for Thermotherapy

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
We consider the effect of gold nanoparticles on the stability properties of convection in a vertical fluid layer saturated by a Jeffreys fluid. The vertical boundaries are rigid and hold at uniform but different temperatures.

Graphs with Projective Linear Stabilizers

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Combinatorics, 1999
Let \(H\) be a group generated by two isomorphic subgroups \(P_1\) and \(P_2\), such that \(\text{PSL}(n,q)\leq P_i\leq \text{P}\Gamma\text{L}(n,q)\) for some \(n\geq 3\) and \(q\) a power of some prime \(p\), and \(B= P_1\cap P_2\) is a one-point stabilizer in the natural action of \(P_i\) on the points of \(\text{PG}(n-1,q)\).

A Bibliometric Analysis of Publications in Uremic Toxins From 1991 to 2024

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Uremic toxins are a growing area of research in nephrology, with significant implications in the progression and treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the management of end‐stage kidney disease (ESKD). This bibliometric analysis aims to evaluate the global research trends, key contributors, and the impact of publications in ...

Study of magnetic field dependent viscosity on a soret driven ferrothermohaline convection in a rotating porous medium

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Mechanics and Engineering, 2014
The effect of a magnetic field dependent viscosity on a Soret driven ferro thermohaline convection in a rotating porous medium has been investigated using the linear stability analysis. The normal mode technique is applied.

Elongation and Stability of a Linear Dune [PDF]

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, 2019
AbstractCompared to barchan dunes, the morphodynamics of linear dunes that elongate on a nonerodible bed have barely been investigated by means of laboratory experiments or numerical simulations. Using a cellular automaton model, we study the elongation of a solitary linear dune from a sand source and show that it can reach a steady state.

Prognosis of Long‐Term Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy and the Impact of Combined Continuous Intravenous Sodium Infusion Therapy

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Patients requiring long‐term continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) generally have poor prognoses. This study evaluated whether adding continuous intravenous sodium infusion (cIVNa) is associated with improved hemodynamics and outcomes in patients undergoing long‐term CRRT for ≥ 7 days.

Delay-dependent exponential stability of neutral stochastic delay systems

open access: yes, 2009
This paper studies stability of neutral stochastic delay systems by linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach. Delay dependent criterion for exponential stability is presented and numerical examples are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed

Delay-dependent robust stability of stochastic delay systems with Markovian switching [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
In recent years, stability of hybrid stochastic delay systems, one of the important issues in the study of stochastic systems, has received considerable attention. However, the existing results do not deal with the structure of the diffusion but estimate

Linear Stability of Scroll Waves [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2000
A full linear stability of a straight scroll wave in an excitable medium is presented. The five eigenmode branches which correspond to deformation in the third dimension of the five main modes of two-dimensional (2D) spiral dynamics are found to play a dominant role.
