Two-Step Root-MUSIC for Direction of Arrival Estimation without EVD/SVD Computation
Most popular techniques for super-resolution direction of arrival (DOA) estimation rely on an eigen-decomposition (EVD) or a singular value decomposition (SVD) computation to determine the signal/noise subspace, which is computationally expensive for ...

Measurement-efficient quantum Krylov subspace diagonalisation [PDF]
The Krylov subspace methods, being one category of the most important classical numerical methods for linear algebra problems, can be much more powerful when generalised to quantum computing.

Linear subspaces in cubic hypersurfaces
We prove that for any cubic polynomial of slice rank $r$, the intersection of all linear subspaces of minimal codimension contained in the corresponding hypersurface has codimension $\le r^2+\frac{(r+1)^2}{4}+r$ in the affine space. This is deduced from the following result of independent interest. Consider the intersection $I$ of linear ideals $(P_i)$

Subspace system identification
We give a general overview of the state-of-the-art in subspace system identification methods. We have restricted ourselves to the most important ideas and developments since the methods appeared in the late eighties.

The Rough Linear Approximate Space and Soft Linear Space
The studies of rough sets and soft sets, which can deal with uncertain problems in real life, have developed rapidly in recent years. We have known that linear space is a very important concept in linear algebra, so the aim of this paper was mainly ...

A well known result of R. R. Phelps (1960) asserts that in order that every linear continuous functional, defined on a subspace \(Y\) of a real normed space \(X\), have a unique norm preserving extension it is necessary and sufficient that its ...

Invertible Subspace-Hypercyclic Operators
A bounded linear operator on a Banach space X is called subspace-hypercyclic for a subspace M if Orb(T, x) \ M is dense in M for a vector x 2 M. In this paper we give conditions under which an operator is M-hypercyclic.
